In Africa today, the issue of witchcraft has become everyday topic. Many families has been plunged into pains because of the wrong conception or approach to this issue. Men and women of God had prophesied so much that have led many parent to torture and annihilate their children. Many marriages have collapsed and many have tortured and killed their age parents.

Today we will be looking at:

THE EVIL WRONG PROPHECIES AGAINST INNOCENT CHILDREN COMING FROM PLACES OF WITHOUT AND SUBSEQUENT DEHUMANIZING TREATMENT ACCOMPANYING IT.

Torture seek to annihilate the victim’s personality and denies the inherent dignity of the human being. The United Nations has condemned torture from the outset as one of the vilest acts perpetrated by human beings on their fellow creatures.

Torture is a crime under the international law. According to all relevant instruments. It’s absolutely prohibited and cannot be justified under any circumstances. This prohibition forms party of Customary International Law, which means that it is binding on every member of the international community, regardless of whether a state has ratified international treaties in which torture is expressly prohibited. The systematic or widespread practice of torture constitutes a crime against humanity.

If a child is truly a witch, why not go through spiritual than physical torture. These tortures changes everything about the child psychology and well being. There are so much we can change through love than violence. Like what my dad always say: when love leads evil bleeds.

Pastors and prophets should be made to understand that Jesus never cast out demons and evil spirit by torture, violence and discrimination but by prayers alone. A child whom has been inflicted with physical injuries than by accidental means is a child that has been physically abused. Our African parents mostly use this as a deliverance tool in a child instead of following spiritual guidance.

Sometimes I feel for children passing through ill-treatment in the of deliverance. I’m not surprise if that child you maltreated truly was a witch kills you one day. What will you gain by taking that step?
